GRRA BOD - August 2021

Time is flying this year and we are holding our August Meeting next week. We will be holding this BOD Meeting in person, but we will be wearing mask during this meeting except while we are eating. Thank you for your continued support of GRRA. It is greatly appreciated.     

At this meeting we will be getting an update of the Common Compliance Policy implementation, discuss “Open Houses”, the GRRA BOD Retreat, get a 401K update and discuss the Juneteenths Holiday.  Also, we will have a discussion on the latest Covid -19 regulations and get an update on the Catylist contract. Yes, one more time!

Our RPAC Co-chairs Hilburn Michel and Mike Carter are still selling RPAC reverse raffle tickets.  We have 13 tickets left so contact Barbara Gilliland to make your investment. Also, RCSC will be asking members to purchase meals for the homeless through the GRRF.  A $15.00 donation to the GRRF will provide two meals for the homeless at either of the Under the Bridge Thanksgiving or the Christmas Day Meal at Benders Tavern. Please help support RCSC on this fundraising effort.   

I hope you will all help me encourage our colleagues to vote in this year’s GRRA elections.  It would be great to increase our participation in this year’s elections to 35% of the membership!  Remember, voting ends Monday, August 23 at 11:59 am.

PS. Don’t forget the GRRA Annual Meeting is Wednesday September 08, 2021! We will be hopefully having cocktails outside and then hold a short meeting inside. The speaker will give us a GSO Parks and Rec. update.
